Beaches and fishermen

Cameroon is bordered in the west by the Atlantic Ocean. To flee the terrible climate of Douala, expats exile towards him each weekend.
Two "stations" are in competition: Limbe towards north, at the foot of the Mount Cameroon and Kribi in the south with its yellow sand beaches and its palm trees.

Walks in the forest, to the lakes or the falls are possible. One can quote the lake Nachtigal, the falls of the Lobe where one tastes famous shrimps of Kribi.
The practical information for these excursions is available here.

Ebodje: ecotourism on the beach

Ebodje and its turtles study center develop a tourism more respectfull and better integrated.

A volcanic massif: Mount Cameroon

Limbe is at the foot of imposing Mount Cameroon (4095m) which is in fact a volcanic massif full of craters and always able to wake up. The massis influence all the area either by its ground (volcanic) and by the climate, the clouds "being blocked" by the massif. A small trek makes it possible to walk around it to discover it.
